I was getting a bit tired of Lady Gaga and her eccentricities to be honest....then lo and behold I saw this interview with her and Paul O'Grady and I fell in love with her again. Shes so adorable. I love her she refuses to work with big names in the industry, saying she wants to keep her creativity her own. LOVE!

I posted this a few days ago in another blog I have but I'd like to know what anyone thinks here too.

Do you believe that asking someone if they are married is a valid, perfectly acceptable question to ask someone when meeting them for the first time? To be honest, I don't. I feel it's a bit personal for first time/introductory questions.
A few nights ago I got to meet this new guy who is around the same age as me etc. One of the questions he asked me was if I was married. I replied no, to which I got an 'oh'. Then I was *told* "SO, you must have a girlfriend, right?" to which I replied "no". Cue awkwardness and me telling this telling this random guy it's actually because I live with my boyfriend. Not that I mind telling people. I'm not exactly in the closet. It's just that I could see in his face and reaction to my first answer how he had already judged me. by the second response, I already felt awkward and judged and by the third I simply wanted to get out of there.
I don't think it's right to ask someone that question when you meet them for the first time - unless you're a random person getting hit on in a bar or something. That's what a ring is for. Look and you'll see your answer. I know I'm entering that stage of life (I'm 29) were a few of my friends are getting married, some settling a bit and some people my age already married, but is this what I am to expect now? That by 29 I am assumed to be married or if not, then planning it with my assumed girlfriend/fiance? I'm not going to lie to the guy as I have nothing to hide but I don't think anyone should be made to feel judged and have to explain they're life choices in an introduction.

I'm so busy at the moment - but busy in a good way. I've been having various meetings since last week with press officers/designers who showed in Tokyo fashion week. All is good. To be honest, I'm lazy when it comes to networking but I've suprised myself lol.

Now...remember when I said I was on the lookout for a dream bag? (I need a sleek looking backpack style bag to carry around my mac, work papers, portfolio etc) Yeah wel I found it!!!! Say hello to my Balenciaga boo http://www.balenciaga.com/int/en/Default.aspx?nav=/collections/men/accessories/bags The picture does NOT do it justice though. It is the most amazing, soft and supple leather, with a really heavy lock on. I wish there was a face shot of it. The only problem is, it comes with a hefty price that at the moment....I simply can't afford. credit card anyone? No I have to be good...eek! So at the moment....it seems it will remain a 'dream' bag sob sob :(

This summer though...I'm thinking about getting some new ink. I want some new tattoos and I've kinda got an idea of what I want done. I need to get it down though ;-)

Seems the link isn't working so you'll have to go to balenciagas website and check it out in mens accessories.

My week started like when you are on a really scary rollercoaster and you're slowly going up the hill. You have that happy, almost giddy, in-flight feeling. You have that adrenalin rushing through and all sorts of positivity as you climb that first hill.
Come today and imagine i just reached the bottom of that hill ad hit a brick wall. Eugh whatever...one of those days. I need to channel the positivity.

I was in Comme Des Garcons today. I ADORE CDG and I crave to wear it head to toe. It's just one of those labels though that is really difficult to pull off in its entirety unless you are Japanese - in my opinion. *sigh*
See what i mean >

WHEN GOOD CLOTHES HAPPEN TO BAD PEOPLE. No more wire hangers for THAT stylist haha.....

This weekend is going to include house parties, lazing in Yoyogi park, Sunday dinners with old friends and lots of Westwood.

Have a good weekend.

Bored in a hotel room.

So I'm down in Kyushu for work (that's here btw.....>)

and I've been put up in a nice little hotel etc. I don't meet with the clients though until tomorrow and having got here at ten p.m and it being a Monday and all.....well, I'M BORED LOL
So having only my laptop for company - what more could I need. right? I consulted the oracle that is YOUTUBE for answers. Bored in a hotel room search later and there's about 5,000,000 videos of other peeps who share my pain! Bored in a hotel room - great name for a band too, don't you think?

I have no idea why but i thought that was hilarious. I wanna try it except my room only has one double bed. And the splits look dangerous for a boy like myself!
Ok so here it is...a list of do's and dont's for when you're bored in a hotel room....

DO'S!
* Make a hat out of toilet paper!!!
* Pamper yourself and have a mini makeover!!
* Jump on the bed or like in the video....practice your splits!
* Have a pillow fight!
* Play knock ad run on peoples doors.
* Get online and find who's in the area. Have a party!
* Find a hottie and have a bootie call!
* rearrange the entire room to confuse the cleaning staff!
* raid the min bar - why I didn't think of that first?
* Count the cracks in the ceilings.
* Prank call guests.
* use the bed sheet to re-enact KylieMinogues 'can't get you out of my head' video.
* Masturbate.

DONT'S
* Get an early night.
* Think about what other people have done in this very room. EW!
* Use hotel products. They're cheap and nasty!
* Don't be alone. What's the point?
* Don't have sex with someone other than your partner. And if you do, then make sure you don't get caught ;-)

Right..... I better get some sleep. I have to be up at the butt crack of dawn :/ boooo! Back to Tokyo tomorrow afternoon though :)

おやすみなさいい!(goodnight zzzZZZ)

JFW.

I finally got round to uploading some images from Tokyo fashion week. Like I mentioned before, I didn't do much this time. I only went to a few shows as I had other work on etc. To be honest...I'm never really overly impressed with Tokyo fashion week. I did however get to meet Diane Pernet who was here all week, had Bryanboy stay at my house for a few days (very busy blogger I may add), went to a few parties around Tokyo namely, Lebaron for Bryans birthday/ASDVOF Diane Pernet party and also had the chance of talking with Asano Tadanobu at Velours.

I really love the knits from mint design and that black jacket at Kanashima Chinami LOVE! There's so many great designers here who don't participate in F.W..it's a shame really. Oh well....
