Isabella Blow.

Tokyo fashion week started yesterday and as you can imagine it's been busy as hell. The funny thing is, I have opted out of doing any of the shows this season. I'm actuallly busy with other projects. Weird not to be caught up in the mayhem this time.
Anyway... so I was talking to a very good milliner friend of mine the other day about our love of hats and we got onto the subject of the amazing, super talented and creative legend that is Isabella Blow.

Isabella Blow was such an enigmatic woman who had one of the best eyes for talent and creative forwardness. She brought us Alexander McQueen, Philip Treacy and Stella Tenant - NEED I SAY MORE.A stylist and writer who excelled and achieved so much, it seems the fashion world truly lost something unique when she departed. Her love of one of a kind head wear become her trademark and it seemed that it was just as exciting to see what Isabella was wearing at an event as it was the models etc.
So I give you, Isabella Blow. True British icon of fashion.

"You're not well enough for the story they've planned." - Isabella Blow.
