END.

For me, I will end my year with this song:

The reason being that it was a year of emotion for me. I left, I lost, I learned, I questioned, I wandered and pondered, I discovered, I challenged, I met, I missed, I anguished, I smiled again and I loved, loved, loved very much.

It was a tough year to be honest but like any experience I learned and I'll grow. 2011 will, like the one before, hold good and bad, yet I'm hoping like you all, it is full of positive energy! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Madonna: Truth or dare.

Madonna: Truth or Dare. Such an outstanding documentary. People can say what they like about her...she SET the standard. Just watch it and see how many styles/ tricks and so on you've seen the  likes of Gaga copy.

wistful.

You're my playground love.

You're the piece of gold that flushes all my soul.

I haven't felt right for a while now. But I think that is changing. And changing for the better. I think so much more is becoming slowly clearer to me and I'm starting to find my way again.  I like that. And I feel like I've been waiting for that feeling for a long time. I thought at one point it had disappeared but I know it is there.

Why do people say this film is depressing. It's so beautiful.

Where the wild roses grow.

They call me The Wild Rose
But my name was Elisa Day
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name was Elisa Day

From the first day I saw her I knew she was the one
As she stared in my eyes and smiled
For her lips were the colour of the roses
They grew down the river, all bloody and wild

When he knocked on my door and entered the room
My trembling subsided in his sure embrace
He would be my first man, and with a careful hand
He wiped the tears that ran down my face

On the second day I brought her a flower
She was more beautiful than any woman I'd seen
I said, 'Do you know where the wild roses grow
So sweet and scarlet and free?'

On the second day he came with a single rose
Said: 'Will you give me your loss and your sorrow?'
I nodded my head, as I layed on the bed
He said, 'If I show you the roses will you follow?'

On the third day he took me to the river
He showed me the roses and we kissed
And the last thing I heard was a muttered word
As he stood smiling above me with a rock in his fist

On the last day I took her where the wild roses grow
And she lay on the bank, the wind light as a thief
As I kissed her goodbye, I said, 'All beauty must die'
And lent down and planted a rose between her teeth

A/W10/11 campaign ads.

So the new ads have been coming in for A/W 2010/11. They are always my favourite as I always feel there's more of a story to them, depth etc.

Prada: stunning! I like how the same kind of concept/ message runs through Prada ads. I feel like you could put all the campaign photos from different seasons together and they would tell one long story.

Dolce and Gabbana : UNF!!!!!

YvesSaintLaurent: kinda boring. Nothing really new here although I like the up close angle shot (top right).

Burberry: No Lily Donaldson this time. I love the impact the Burberry ads always carry but the group always seem intimidating. They look like the group of cool kids at school who are always mean to you but you still want to be their friend.

Louis Vuitton: er....STUNNING! I think they're not so exciting but have opted for the more classic, demure side of what Louis Vuitton originally was. No more Madonna or other celebs please! And Christy Turlington! Bitch does NOT age!!! Karen is my fave in these though ;-)

WTAPS photoshoot.

I modelled yesterday for WTAPS a select shop in Aoyama.
----
The pics are for their A/W campaign. I wasn't able to take any more pics except on iPhone but the shoot was a blast and the location spot on!! We shot in this old mill out in the countryside near Mount Fuji.

The view of Fuji on the way home.
The shoot was very British 80s punk.
Thanks to everyone for a great day! Such a good team!

PS sorry for the layout quality of this post. I sent it from my iPhone and it seems to have a mind of it's own :-)
